Reny Jose, a Rice University engineering student, vanished on March 3rd, 2014 during a spring break trip to Panama City Beach, Florida. According to NBC affiliate station WNYT, the then 21-year-old had rented a beach house with a group of friends. Four days into the trip, he was reported missing by his friends. Police found Reny’s clothes and cell phone in a trash can behind the house a few days later.
Since then, no major developments in the case have been made, and no persons of interest in his disappearance have been named.
