Netflix Outage Disrupts Chill Sessions Across the U.S.

Netflix’s online streaming service went down for 90 minutes and people flipped out.

Netflix’s video streaming service went down for many U.S. subscribers on Thursday, causing many to turn to Twitter to complain.

The outage was cause by a web content delivery service known as UltraDNS. A problem with one of UltraDNS' servers on the East Coast took down several websites, a company spokeswoman told the New York Times.

The online streaming service was restored Thursday evening after 90 minutes.
