First the cronut, then the rainbow bagel were the latest food obsession for New Yorkers with a sweet tooth.

Now, a New York City pastry chef has created the cinnamon roll donut to give you a sugar rush ... and maybe send you to the dentist.

Thiago Silva, the executive pastry chef at the restaurant Catch, created the dessert. It is served with pumpkin ice cream, spiced rum custard and cranberry pomegranate sauce. The dessert itself is exactly as it sounds: a cinnamon roll stuffed into a glazed donut and fried. In true Manhattan fashion, the delectable sugar bomb will set you back $13.
