Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred spoke with NBC News’ Chuck Todd at Yankee Stadium in his first broadcast network interview as commissioner.

Manfred addressed the future of America’s pastime, the diversity of the game and his thoughts on reinstating career hits leader Pete Rose and his Hall of Fame candidacy.

The interview will air on “Meet the Press” this Sunday, April 5, opening day of the baseball season.
