In an interview conducted before the coronavirus pandemic shut down much of America, NBC’s Jacob Ward sat down with Clearview AI CEO Hoan Ton-That. His company’s technology uses public photos posted online to identify people any time they walk past a camera, and is sold to law enforcement agencies across the country.
